Abstract

Drilling efficiency of directional and horizontal wells depends on quality of coalface cleanness and drill returns
onto the daylight surface. There were considered the conditions of formation of stable reverse-forward motion
of washing liquid in the annuli of directional and horizontal wells directly by the energy of liquid flow and possibility
of regulation of hydrodynamic parameters and flow structure taking into account mining-and-geological characteristics
of the field. We provided the results of theoretical studies of hydrodynamic circulation processes that occur
in the annuli of directional and horizontal wells during the process of drilling using hydro acoustic generators that
create intermittent turbulent liquid flow of significant potency for quality cleaning of the coalface and drill return
onto the daylight surface. There were received analytical dependencies for determination of energy characteristics
of intermittent turbulent flow of washing liquid in the annulus of the well. Also, there was developed “MathCAD”
software and provided the results of calculation of energy parameters of biopolymer washing liquid turbulent flow
in the real well.
