Requirements to technological properties of dispersed materials which are suitable for plugging cracks during oil production

The article deals with researches to select dispersed systems classification. The dispersed systems are the most
suitable materials for plugging cracks of the oil reservoir as canals of untimely breakthrough of displacement
agents (water, water solutions of active admixtures) to productive wells that is proved by their application in practice.
The requirements to technological properties of plugging dispersed materials have been grounded. The classification
of the dispersed systems according to geometry dimensions of dispersed phase particles and mechanism of
the plugging barrier formation, conditions analysis of the dispersed phase penetration the into the pores and cracks
of the oil reservoir were chosen as the research methods and also the material cost and manufacturability of the
operation with them and pumping into the reservoir were considered. It gave the possibility to select and ground the
requirements of the dispersed system correspondence to structural and concentration criteria of selective and control
colmatation (absence of matrix pores colmatation and dispersed phase penetration into cracks with probable
grounding of the phenomenon of colmatation for polydimension cracks and porous medium by polydispersed system
as a slurry), zero floatability of the dispersed phase (according to hydrodynamic criterion when the actual speed of
particles sedimentation equals zero), the cost of material (as there may be a need for it in great amounts to 2% of
the reservoir bulk volume) and technological works and pumping into the formation (the absence of water solubility
and desired swelling in oil, ability to consolidate in the cracks and form a low permeable structure with permeability
similar to the formation one etc.). The above mentioned requirements allow to choose technological material
among existing dispersed systems the production of which has been mastered by the industry or create the new ones.
