Abstract

The specific features of the non-isothermal pipeline operation were studied, when the change of temperature and pressure can result in the emergency situation. The statistical methods of grade classification and main components are applied for diagnosing of cleaning efficiency from paraffin deposits that appear on the pipeline walls during transportation of oil with content of
paraffin. The most informing parameters were used, namely: the volume flow rate, pressure drop, mean value of temperature of pumping-over, viscosity at the set temperature. At the study of influence of different factors on the process of formation of paraffin deposits the method of main components wass used This method is used when during the study of impact of different factors on a process that is prospected, there are cases, when basic factors are intercorrelated. It wass shown that the method of grade classification allows more operatively to make decision to adjust pressure within safe limits in the process of transportation taking into account the change of the pipeline effective diameter.
