Importance of energy security in formation of economic security of the European Union

Abstract

Throughout whole history the mankind was forced to solve various climatic, socio-economic or other tasks.
Currently, there are following key problems of survival: food security, energy supply and conservation fit for the
environment. In today's world, general safety and security hydrocarbons, including oil and natural gas, are interdependent.
The threats for energy security include uneven distribution of oil and natural gas on our planet and uneven
energy consumption between the countries. International security will lose stability if the global system of energy
raw materials come out of equilibrium. Accordingly, it is necessary to manage of its balance, based on the
general international legal framework and the overall energy strategy. Currently, resource security has become a
crucial component of international security, the basis of socio-economic development of nations and states. This is
the difference between the XXI century and XX one. The researches of many scientists are devoted to the problems
of the energy security. Despite many numbers of them, the development of energy security problems should always
take place, since the dynamics of life processes require respond on changes and continuous improvements.
